It doesn't get better than FF6. Okay, maybe it does. But not to me. This is where Final Fantasy peaked as a series. There were 12 (14) characters, each with unique personality traits and battle commands that helped the party in a variety of situations. Some were a bit cumbersome to use if you weren'... A new long-term study into violent media in the US could help settle the long-standing argument of whether or not violent films and video games are to blame for violence in society.
The research, led by psychologist Christopher Ferguson and published in the Journal of Communication, not only found... Click to read more

Blizzards announcement of Starcraft: Remastered a much-needed visual/technical update for their 1998 classic was an exciting moment for nostalgic gamers looking to relive the glory days of massing carriers on Big Game Hunters.
But for a smaller, more hardcore group of fans, StarCraft: Remastered... Click to read more

One never thought a Star Wars game could be this good until you've played KOTOR. I mean, there are a few stellar Jedi Knight games, but they were not KOTOR-good. It's the best RPG I've ever played, period.

It's a great idea to remake this incredible classic to fit the current screen resolution, let alone adapting it for touch screen play since no game can come close to what BG2 was able to achieve in terms of gameplay depth and excellence in narration. Now, you can re-experience this masterpiece from... Click to read more

Some of the quests and moral chocies you have to make in Fallout 3 were pretty fucked up. I mean fucked up in a good way. Fallout 3 was successfully in creating a vast and believable barren wasteland. The best thing is if you live in Washington DC, you can actually find the landmarks and possibly th... This is the best strategy game I have ever seen, maybe even the best game I have ever seen. It has got humour, a good and serious story, best graphics I have ever seen in a strategy game and a great game-play.

Oblivion will forever have a special place in my heart. Not even Skyrim is as half as good as Oblivion. And for although the main quest was even shorter than that of Skyrim, Oblivion made up for it with its awesome side quests including none other than the Dark Brotherhood questline.

If you don't mind, or actually like Hentai and violence, then there cannot be a visual novel more classic than the legendary School Days. School Days started off as an adventure game, but owing to its massive popularity it's spun off an anime series and a manga series. The game itself isn't very int... Click to read more

Not only is Homeworld the first 3D RTS, it is also a unique experience that stood out from the rest of the RTS in that it doesn't work like a standard base-building game thanks to its control in space. The manuevering of ships and the sound effects are all too intense. Controls can be confusing at t... Click to read more

Very atmospheric and intense. I always love steam punk so Bioshock is what I've dreamed for. The little sisters are scary as hell! The skill system is cool and really fun.

If I'm missing in action lately I'm most likely playing Thief. I was a big fan of the old Thief games, so buying the revamped Thief is a no brainer.

I am having a blast with this game. I am making sure I steal every coin. While it does borrow from Dishonored, it's still a league of its own. It's... Click to read more

Baseball Mogul has been around for about 20 years. Back in the day, the thing with sports titles was to make the name of your game a year ahead of the actual year it was to make people more interested in them. The "Triple Play" series was big on that. And as such, Baseball Mogul 2000 was released in... Click to read more

Thief is still one of the best action-adventure stealth-horror game out there, and the very first "stealth" game in existence.

It has the BEST combat in an RPG by far. I have no idea why this game isn't more famous. Probably due to poor marketing.

Ending E was a total asspull and doesn't fit with the edgy theme the rest of the game was going for. You literally cannot kill off characters and then have them be completely fine 5 minutes later. I love how they keep adding DC heroes to the roster. It keeps the game fresh for people and opens up a ton more strategies for the pro since each match up between each character is meticulously studied by them. It keeps the pro from being bored and on their toes.

I still remember AOK being promoted for using realistic men-to-building ratio in the game. I was like, for real?? That would mean a soldier would look miniature next to a pyramid.
