Dishonored 2 is an action game, a sequel to the critically acclaimed Dishonored and the second major release in the series.

Dishonored 2 is set 15 years after the Lord Regent has been vanquished and the dreaded Rat Plague has passed into history. An otherworldly usurper has seized the throne from Empress Emily Kaldwin, leaving the fate of the Isles hanging in the balance. As either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, travel beyond the legendary streets of Dunwall to Karnaca – a once-dazzling coastal city that holds the key to restoring Emily to power. Armed with the mark of the Outsider and powerful new supernatural abilities, hunt down your enemies and forever alter the fate of the Empire.

I love that Arkane is doing the old way of expansion, continuing the main story and pushing the narrative forward. In this case, I can't wait to kill the Outsider. He's probably the most powerful character in the entire series. Like a god. I wonder if you can kill a god?

The Honest Game Trailer for Dishonored 2 is out, and it hits home! I cannot fathom why a game that is designed around ingenius ways of killing people punishes you for killing people.

First i am going to address the elephant in the room. Yes the optimisation is not perfect but just wait for the imminent patches. With my fx 8320 @ 4.0 ghz, 8gb 1600mhz ram and gtx 970 i got average of 50 fps on very high settings but the fps did drop to 36 - 40 while in the city. It certainly does not make the game unplayable but is a bit annoying. Aside from that, during my 9 hours of play-through I did not encounter any bug. The story is just as interesting if not more compared to the original Dishonoured. The art design and graphics are just breathtaking. The combat and stealth feels refined and refreshed compared to the original with some new powers. The new powers are super useful and make the game very enjoyable. In its current state i would give the game 9/10. Without the technical issues it would've been a 10/10. I have played the original dishonoured like 6 times full stealth and for me dishonoured 2 is everything i wanted from a sequel.

Once you look past the technical hiccups you will come to appreciate the superb gameplay that Dishonored 2 offers. I guess I'm one of the lucky fews who have not encountered any technical issues at all.

Shouldn't have been released with so many technical issues on the PC. The fps will drop all the way to 15 in some areas for no reason. I can get 60 fps on Ultra so the issue isn't about my rig, it's the optimization. I can't recommend it to PC gamers since a lot of people have been having A LOT of issues, ranging from 15 fps to crashes to not even being able to make it past the main menu.

Dishonored 2 reminds me of Assassin's Creed Unity, where you can play as two different characters. Luckily, other than this, and the fact that they are both in the stealth genre, they are entirely different games that play vastly differently.

I personally prefer Emily as she is really OP. She feels really powerful to play as, even more so than Corvo in the first game. The gameplay is excellent, but sometimes not challenging enough. It's a common problem for action games with RPG elements, since by the time you reach the late game you will have a vast number of tricks at your disposal but your enemies don't scale nearly as much.

Graphically Dishonored 2 is not impressive. I got stutter and performance issues with my GTX 1070. As far as I know I'm way beyond the recommended specs. So you should either wait until they offer a fix, or play on the console.

Love this. I explored each area thoroughly. Beat the game at 25 hours. Could done it for far less, or more though. I can imagine the replay value to be amazing. The world is more sandboxy than the first. There are lots of area to explore. Like always, you can choose to go lethal or non-lethal.

The game is shit. I keep getting terrible framerate. And the graphics are bad. Not worth getting IMO.
